Protecting the interests of Landlords

The Australian Landlords Association protects the interests of landlords while also providing support, education and resources on legislation, rights and what is required to fulfil the role as landlord.

ALA also represents the interests of landlords in government, industry & media. Landlords have previously been an unrepresented sector of the rental industry and as a result, much of the current legislation is heavily skewed in favour of tenants.

We represent our members and actively recognise the contribution landlords make to the rental sector and the wider society.

ALA is a not-for-profit organisation.

Over the years, Landlords have been misrepresented in government, industry and media resulting in many misconceptions, by not only tenants, but by the general public. We are working to change this.

The ALA works with these bodies to ensure Landlords are accurately represented and acknowledged for the vital role they play in providing safe, legal and secure housing for many Australians.
